The Ministry of Power confers powers under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, upon M/s POWERGRID Kurnool-IV Transmission Limited for laying specific overhead transmission lines, granting them authorities akin to a telegraph authority under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, for a period of 25 years.
